Here you have a list of very Finnish habits
• When entering in the bus, if you want to be polite say hello to the bus driver

•Wave at the bus if you want it to stop at you bus stop

• when you enter at someone´s home you should leave your shoes in the hall

• Don´t jump in the queue because Finnish people definitely hate it
• Finns are quite punctual and it is considered to be rude to be more than 10 to 15 minutes late
• Finns drink huge amounts of coffee. It is served everywhere and usually it is served with a sweet buns or
biscuits. Nowadays you can choose tea as well
• Finnish usually drink milk during the meals
• Finnish people are used to eat very early, for example lunch is often served at 11:30am; diner is around
5:00/6:00pm
• When you are invited to sauna, GO. There is no good reason for declining. The sauna is a sacred place where
people don’t talk about politics or work but just enjoy the warmth and good company. It is not obligatory to enter sauna totally naked. You can also wrap a towel around you. Besides, usually girls go before boys.
• Easter Mämmi: Mämmi is a Finnish pudding-like dessert, served primarily during the Easter season. This dish is very famous in Finland and has been around since at least the 17th century. It is made of water, rye flour, and powdered malted rye, seasoned with dark molasses, salt, and dried powdered Seville orange zest.

• One and two cent coins are not used in Finland. When you pay cash for something in Finland the price is rounded to the nearest 0.05€ so there is no use for 1 and 2 cent coins. Although 1 and 2 cent coins are, strictly speaking, legal tender, shops are not obliged to take them.
