ESN KISA

Kuopio International Students' Association, ESN KISA, organizes free time activities for international and Finnish students.
These activities include excursions, parties, game nights, culture exchange and other events. Their goal is to make your time in Kuopio as fun and memorable as possible. Anyone can join ESN KISA and membership is free for all the Student Union members. For more information visit KISA's Facebook group

Trips:

ESN KISA organizes different trips to different locations:
• Lapland:
• Stockholm
• St Petersburg
Prices can vary from year to year but for Lapland and St Petersberg it costs between 200 and 300 €

ESN KISA Organizes also different parties all year long!

The Student Union provides various services for university students. Under the student union act, all undergraduate degree students (completing Bachelor's or Master's degree at the University of Eastern Finland) are required to join the Student Union. Exchange students studying in Finland for longer than three months are welcome to join the Student Union, but are not obliged to do so.

If the exchange student's study period at the University of Eastern Finland lasts less than three months, it is not possible for them to join the Student Union.

To become a member, one must pay the membership fee. It entitles students to the services of Student Health Service, discounts on meal prices in the on-cafeterias on campus and at a number of shops, stores and restaurants, and to 50% discount on long distance train and bus fares.

Joining the student union will cost you 108€ if you stay the entire year or 57€ if you only stay one semester
